Choice
To Choose —
We all must choose how we engage with ourselves and the outer world. Passively allowing the world to happen to us is being a victim to our own circumstance. Allowance is not resisting what is… Sometimes it feels like these two ideas contradict each other. How do we allow and also be at choice? Do something different when faced with this dichotomy. You can have a bubble bath, go for a walk, do some yoga, or take a breath. These intentional actions create a space where you’re not just allowing, but actively shaping your responses to life’s unfolding events.
Sovereignty
Sovereignty is choosing to be fully present with ourselves. The first step is to choose to BE fully present within our being. Truly take up residence inside ourselves. This puts us in the driver’s seat of our life. Of course, this is an ongoing process. For I choose it in this moment. I choose it in the next moment. Making the choice to engage with yourself – inside of your head, heart, and lower body is a requirement to being a co-creator of our reality.
If we choose distraction, worry, fear, escapism — we relinquish our power. Our choice is made for us. We are tossed about in the sea of the collective. Aka FEAR.
Choose to engage with your own self NOW. Allow what is to be present — even if it sucks. This allowance of what is releases our resistance to it.
Then make a choice! What do you desire to experience? Take the next easiest step… Rinse, repeat.
What if you are stuck, can’t get out of your own way, remain in resistance, unclear, or confused? Then choose to take action.
Choose to get unstuck, to release resistance, to get clear. How do you choose it?
To choose to do something different. Reach out…
It doesn’t have to be with me. There are lots of choices. We are all in this together.
What do I choose on this day?
I choose gratitude!
For gratitude is the easiest and most accessible frequency to elevate our being. It is the easiest high frequency to choose.
So let’s get grateful. The act of feeling gratitude is what matters. It isn’t the “what we feel grateful for” but the frequency of gratitude that makes the difference.
