Our Becoming

August 13, 2024 Posted by Neil Intuitive Development, Self Help

There is a profound and often unfiltered way through which our true selves manifest in this world. It can be challenging to articulate this deeply spiritual experience, as it transcends the more familiar earthly realms and ventures into the divine. This expression of the self can feel vastly different from other aspects of our being, such as our chakras or physical sensations. For instance, when working with a client, this divine light can come through in unique ways, distinctly different from everyday experiences.

At times, we may struggle with feelings of unworthiness or fear of allowing our true selves to shine. This can happen during significant life changes, such as a move, where we might hesitate to fully embrace and express our “I am” presence. Yet, there are moments when this expression feels so vital that it becomes an urgent need. It’s a force so powerful that it compels us to act, even if it means performing impromptu acts of service, like offering help to a stranger in a parking lot. This drive is not just a passion; it feels like a fundamental part of our existence that we must honor to feel complete and fulfilled.

Expressing our true selves also involves vulnerability. We often question if it’s safe to be our authentic selves and grapple with negative self-talk that can undermine our confidence. This internal conflict can be particularly pronounced during transitions, such as returning to work after maternity leave, where the stakes feel higher and the scrutiny more intense. Despite these challenges, there is a persistent inner force urging us to express who we truly are, even when it feels daunting.

When we align with our true selves, it often feels like tapping into a powerful, unstoppable force, much like the immense flow of Niagara Falls. This energy can be overwhelming, leaving us with no choice but to let it out, despite the fear and doubt that may accompany it. The consequences of not expressing this energy can be far more uncomfortable than facing external challenges.

Living in alignment with our true selves is a commitment that many of us undertake without fully understanding the depth of the journey. It requires continuous effort to remain true to our intentions and to bring our unique essence into physical reality. This process can be more difficult than anticipated, yet it is a path we feel compelled to follow.

As we navigate this journey, we encounter various forms of resistance, such as feelings of unworthiness or self-doubt. These obstacles often manifest physically, such as tightness in the chest or throat, which can indicate deeper emotional blocks. By recognizing and addressing these physical sensations, we can begin to release the underlying resistance and allow our true selves to emerge more freely.

Ultimately, the journey of expressing our true selves involves a delicate balance of recognizing our vulnerabilities, embracing our inner power, and committing to continuous growth. It is through this process that we can fully bring our unique light into the world, creating a space where our authentic selves can thrive. This ongoing practice of self-alignment and expression not only enriches our own lives but also contributes positively to the world around us.
